A day in Utrecht, dagje in Utrecht.
On Friday, I have been to Utrecht, which is about 45 minutes from The Hague, so perfect for a city daytrip!

So far, so good! Attention: A picture spam is coming!
What I can say so far: I survived the flight. Somehow I managed to end up in row 12 instead of 11 dus the stewardess forogt me while the catering was on. She was checking their list of "Smart-price-bookers" and I didn't got a drink nor a sandwich so I was like "Okaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay, but my price had it included..." and that was the moment I realized I was sitting wrong. Well, I still had a bottle of water and a snickers so I didn't mind. What I mind is that that little guy, who was sitting on my seat then, he changed his seat next to the hallway to my window seat as it was empty, got my drink and he didn't say a thing. Helloooooooo? I payed for it you fucking asshole.
Plus, Germanwings should teach their employees a bit better. A bit more motivation and not forgetting any guests while service time!

WHY Den Haag?
Maybe some of you knew that I already had a family in Haarlem where I should start. But there were 2 reasons why I decided not to go to Haarlem but to another city, a city where I really wanted to go, a BIG CITY, which was a dream of me since I had this idea of going to The Netherlands after my finished apprenticeship which I had right from the beginning of my apprenticeship. What matters are dreams and if you have the chance to live YOUR dream, then why shall I take second best?
Of course, Haarlem isn't a small city, but one reason was the "family" and the second reason for me was DISTANCE. With Haarlem and this whole Au-Pair procedure I connected so many things and one person and for me it wouldn't be right to go to Haarlem as I thought there would be things which constantly will remind me of that time. And about the "family", the family is really really really nice and soooo lovely and adorable, but I couldn't imagine myself caring for a 1 1/2 year old baby boy.
Yes, now you might say "Don't let any fear ruin everything." but for me, I just couldn't imagine myself with this situation. Maybe it would have gone all right and caring for a 1 1/2 year old boy wouldn't be that bad but for now, I know that this is not what I want.
About Den Haag, Den Haag is a big city! YES! It is close to Rotterdam (which I pretty much like as I loooove Rotterdam) and it has a beach in biking distance from where I will live. So it all sounds pretty perfect to me. Maybe it will be a nightmare in the end but I choosed it so I can't complain.

The early bird...
For those who know me, know that I am pretty much well-known for forgetting things, from small things like a book in school up to my wallet in the train. Yes, no joke. I even forget my shopped items in the train or my lunch or whatever. As I'm not leaving for a normal vocation or holiday where I'll be back in a few days or a week I thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to start a packing list for myself as I won't have the opportunity to get my forgotten things when needed immidiately then so before I will forget any important device or document or whatever, it sounds like a great plan for me.
I'm pretty sure I will forget any important thing in the end anyway. Wouldn't be me if not...

One month to go!
Yes!!!
Just one month or 4 weeks to go until I'm leaving Germany and moving to Den Haag, The Netherlands.
And I am sooo ready for this adventure, so so ready! :)
