+++ And then, all of a sudden, you met the king of the Netherlands +++

8th of September, Monday morning. Claire, a spain Au-Pair and me were bringing the kiddies to school. The parents wait outside until the doors open at 08:30 am and until the child is in. And then, the king of the Netherlands, Willem-Alexander, was standing infront of us. He brought his 3 kiddies to school. Oh my fucking gosh! Yes, I find it amazing and unbelievable!!! Not even a month here and I saw the king of the Netherlands. Like, which dutch human can say he met the prins (the king) ?! Well, probably the parents of the kids which go to the same school than my kiddies do but woooow! I feel honoured!

I didn't know that this was the king as I am not into that stuff and yeah. Until Claire told me and I was like "WTF? Why didn't you tell me earlier?!" ... The thing is, last monday, after the holydays ended, my hostdad and me brought the kiddies to school together and the king was also there but my hostdad didn't want to tell me because there were soooo many people so I actually met him twice. Yeah!

Oooooh, The Hague!

The past few days were filled with all but spare time so this will be another picture spam of what I've been up to the last 1 1/2 week.

Basically, just sightseeing of what The Hague has to offer, a lot!

So far, so good! Attention: A picture spam is coming!

What I can say so far: I survived the flight. Somehow I managed to end up in row 12 instead of 11 dus the stewardess forogt me while the catering was on. She was checking their list of "Smart-price-bookers" and I didn't got a drink nor a sandwich so I was like "Okaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay, but my price had it included..." and that was the moment I realized I was sitting wrong. Well, I still had a bottle of water and a snickers so I didn't mind. What I mind is that that little guy, who was sitting on my seat then, he changed his seat next to the hallway to my window seat as it was empty, got my drink and he didn't say a thing. Helloooooooo? I payed for it you fucking asshole.

Plus, Germanwings should teach their employees a bit better. A bit more motivation and not forgetting any guests while service time!

Tips for packing your suitcase for leaving for a longer period

There are 5 tips for packing your suitcase if you are leaving for a longer time or even for vocation as the luggage is always limited.

1. Kind of obvious but seriously, do a packing list in advance and don't do that list last minute. It makes sure that you take everything with you and don't forget anything. Also, don't pack on the day of the departure as you will forget something anyway then.

2. If you leave for a longer period, you might need a lot of clothes and of course, you can't take your whole wardrobe with you. The easiest way to sort your clothes out is to pack just clothes in your suitcase which you wore the last 2 months. Seriously, that makes picking your clothes out a lot easier!

3. While packing, make sure that the heavy things like shoes are on the ground of the suitcase.

4. Also, because of the limited space, it's a quite good idea to put your socks or so into your shoes as this doesn't cost any more needable space for more important things.

5. If you have any space on the border of your suitcase, roll your T-Shirts into a roll and put them into that space! Also you can put your shampoo etc. wrapped in a plastic bag into those spaces.

Finde ich ja äußerst praktisch und ersparrt mir den kleinen großen Ausraster am Tag vor der Abreise, falls nicht alles, was ich plane mitzunehmen, in den Koffer oder das Handgepäck passt und der Koffer mehr als 23 KG haben sollte.
